With A Lot Of Help From Our Friends

Yes, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But what might be even more flattering is when friends and colleagues decide to follow your lead in supporting a very worthy cause.

One such designated outreach partner that has inspired all of us at NHS Global Events is Sarah’s Circle. Since 1979, they have been helping homeless or at-risk women with daytime services including food, clothing, shelter, housing and clinical services for domestic violence and trauma in Chicago.

Recently, we learned that the wonderful folks at Preferred Hotels & Resorts decided to join us in supporting Sarah’s Circle.

Said Kate Nawracaj, Preferred’s Director of Group Sales, about NHS Global Events and Sarah’s Circle, “We value your partnership and appreciate your efforts for this organization and for that reason, we are working to support you in your efforts for this cause.”

To that end, Justina Grabowski, an Account Manager in Group Sales, rallied the troops at Preferred to collect mini-shampoos, soaps, conditioners, mouthwash, toothpaste and toothbrushes to be donated to the women of Sarah’s Circle.

Justina sent emails to a substantial list of individuals and set up a collection box in their offices in Chicago.

It takes just a spark to build a blaze of positivity and we thank the employees of Preferred Hotels & Resorts for lighting a fire that will help so many in need.
