Boston Harbor Hasn’t Rocked Like This In More Than Two Centuries
It’s still a little over a year away, but it’s time to start thinking about what’s building in Boston right now. That’s excitement for the Wynn Boston Harbor, scheduled to open in June 2019 on the Mystic River in Everett.
The $2.4 billion, 5-star luxury resort will overlook the Boston skyline and include 671 deluxe guest rooms, including 104 suites. There will be 13 magnificent restaurants and lounges, ranging from fine to casual dining. A 26,000-square-foot spa, fitness center and beauty salon, 21,000 square feet of outdoor event space overlooking the harbor and a 200,000-square-foot casino are also part of the exciting list of amenities.
Joan Esneault, Executive Director of Hotel Sales & Catering, is excited for what Wynn guests will see when they enter the resort. “When they walk into the lobby, they will be greeted not only by 5-star service, but a beautiful lobby filled with flowers, gardens and an abundance of natural light and curved escalators. And Popeye, a $28 million sculpture by acclaimed artist Jeff Koons.”
There will also be three enclosed and temperature-controlled water shuttles connecting guests with the financial and seaport areas of Boston.
Joan says “groups that are looking for a unique New England destination with the Wynn brand’s unparalleled approach to hospitality in Boston will certainly enjoy the Wynn Boston Harbor. We can accommodate midweek groups, Sunday through Thursday with up to 500 rooms and smaller groups on the weekends.”
